This year, Burwood Church is participating in the World Day of Prayer, a global movement that sees Christians from over 170 countries unite to pray for peace, justice, understanding and action.
Our World Day of Prayer service will take place on Friday night, March 1 at 7pm. As well as a time for prayer and worship, our associate Pastor, Adrian Peterson, will be sharing the Word with us.
The World Day of Prayer is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as a community and we’d love to see you there!
Refreshments served afterwards.

Paul alluded to the trinity as a family (Eph 3:15). Togetherness in God and with each other is life in the fellowship that is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We belong in God and with each other. Prayer Meeting is ‘us with God’. It is enjoyable and life-giving. Much more than a shopping list, this is communion that enables us to realise the togetherness that is ours in Jesus.

Get involved by volunteering monthly at a meal centre in Croydon, where people who need to can come, sit and chat. We serve a free hot meal, a cold drink and a coffee just the way they like it!
If you’d like to get involved there are a couple of ways to do so. Contact Chi at [www.bacc.net.au/serve/](https://www.bacc.net.au/serve/) for info.
