SATURDAYS AT BACC
9:45am - BIBLE STUDY FOR ALL AGES
For many people, church is a building. For others church is the worship programme. At Burwood Adventist Community Church (BACC) we believe that church is the people and we try to reflect this in all that we do. Nowhere is this more evident than in our Group Bible Study time on Sabbath morning. It is when we meet together and do things in smaller groups and it is here that "community" develops. From 9:45 there are hot drinks and a light "morning tea'. This allows people to meet, greet and share with each other in an unstructured way over a cup of their favourite beverage. From 10:15 we break into groups ranging in size from 8 -18 people to share and study together. There are many different groups, each catering for different needs. Some are based on age, some on topic and some on study style. If you are new to BACC feel free to "sample" a few of the groups but don't be surprised if you get hooked.
11:15 - WORSHIP
Worship at BACC is an inclusive multi-generational experience. It is a time to praise God and equip and inspire us to live life as He intended. Our worship typically includes:
● Singing (words are on a screen) led by one of our worship bands. If you don't sing, you are welcome to just enjoy the music.
● Praying, giving to the morning collection and sharing our life journeys during a segment we call Church Life.
● Watching selected video clips, the children’s story or great skits from our drama team that all enhance the message of the day.
● Listening to a Bible-based, thought-provoking message presented by one of our ministry team. At BACC we are always looking for new, authentic and culturally relevant ways to praise and worship God.
If our worship inspires you, please come back and get involved. We look forward to using your God-given talents and gifts to further praise and worship Him.
